The new Graphic is out, it bright pink with illuminous text, its all hand screenprinted by K2 screen!!!

We went to Newcastle to hear a talk from Adrian Shaugnessy,the talk was helpful and he highlighted allot of mistakes that graduates make!He showed us some of his work, it was really interesting to see, it wasn't what i expected, it was quite high end graphics, it was really good finished quality but it was all abit the same , typical good graphics that you see all the time , nothing was really that different about his work.His advice was really helpful tho.

Work placement

I have finally got a work placement, at K2 screen, its a screen printing company, the website doesn't really show much of there work, but some of the client's they have printed for are really big, they also have a spread in Graphic when SEA designed their new brand identity.

Yes studio

I put a piece of there work up on my type blog as well, i chose this piece of work because i like the style of illustration, and the pastakl colours used, its got a really old fashioned feel to it, and because its been screen printed i think it just a really nice piece of simple work.

Hint magazine

Found this magazine,thought it was really relevant to what Ive done in visual language because of the illustrations onto images, one of the things that i hope to do is start to use my drawings as development work and then be able to move them on further by finishing them into illustrator.

Neal Murren

In visual language i am illustrating magazine articles, its interesting to see how other artists do it,to show hoe you dont always need photography to finnish of an article it cab be illustration aswell.

The top image on these photos is so similar to the work i am doing in visual language, it gave me the idea to do my drawings on big scale.
